TERMS

Craftsman Awards reserves the right to qualify all customers.  All orders will be COD unless credit has been established.  Custom orders, regardless of credit approval will require a 50% deposit to begin production, balance will be due upon delivery.  Craftsman Awards accepts MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover, or approved company checks.  All returned checks carry a $25.00 service charge over the check amount.   [back to top]


CUSTOM ARTWORK

For any etching other than straight line copy, camera-ready artwork (black and white line art - no gray halftones or color) is required.  Craftsman reserves the right to determine what constitutes acceptable artwork.  Photocopies, faxes and letterheads are not acceptable and will be subject to additional charges.

Set-up charges are $50.00(P) per logo when camera-ready art is provided.  The quality of artwork my affect delivery schedule.  If art provided is not acceptable Craftsman will charge $85.00(P) per hour to convert any unacceptable art.

All logo charges are onetime charges.  Repeat orders will be subject to a minimum setup charge of $20.00(P) per order.

Artwork may be sent on PC Compatible 3.5" disks, 100MB Zip Disks or via email to: awards@craftsmanfab.com.  All fonts must be included for accurate reproduction.  Acceptable file formats are: .eps and .tif. All artwork must be at least 300 dpi.   [back to top]


STRAIGHT-LINE COPY

Charges for straight-line copy are included in all standard pieces featured in this catalog.  Use of special typestyle or curved copy may require an additional charge.  Please call for pricing.   [back to top]


PERSONALIZATIONS

Personalizations will require a $5.00(P) charge per item ordered.   [back to top]


PAPER PROOFS

Paper proofs are faxed for approval prior to production.  The first two proofs will be at no charge.  The third proof could carry an additional charge.  Our Customer Service Representatives will notify you in the event that a third proof is necessary.   [back to top]


SAMPLES

Pre-production samples are available upon request.  Please call for more information.  When a sample is purchased, production will not begin until written approval of sample is received.   [back to top]

RANDOM SAMPLES

Random samples of catalog pieces will be billed within 30 days if sample is not returned within that time.  Outgoing and incoming freight is the responsibility of the company making the request.   [back to top]  


RUSH CHARGES

Orders requiring less than normal lead time (7 to 10 working days) will require a 20% rush charge with a $50.00(P) minimum.   [back to top]  


SECONDARY ETCH AREAS

Etching charges per additional location per piece is $25.00(P).  Setup charges per location is $20.00(P).  All applicable personalization and logo charges apply.   [back to top]


COMBINED PRICING

Quantities of different item numbers may be combined to qualify for a greater price break, provided the total quantity is on one purchase order.   [back to top] 


DROP SHIPMENTS

There will be a $15.00(P) charge per drop-ship address plus actual shipping.  Complete and accurate addresses and zip codes must be provided.  PO Boxes will not be accepted.   [back to top]


INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS

Distributor must choose the carrier and provide all shipping documents, including customs papers.  There will be an additional handling charge of $40.00(P) for all international shipments.   [back to top] 


OVERRUNS

The exact quantity ordered will be the quantity shipped.   [back to top]


INCOMPLETE ORDERS

Orders will not be processed nor placed on the production schedule until all parts of the order are received by Craftsman.  These items include, but are not limited to: personalizations, camera-ready art, etc... .  Normal production time begins when the order is complete.   [back to top]


PACKAGING

Most items are packaged in a brown corrugated box using foam packing.  Craftsman Awards does not provide gift boxes at this time.   [back to top]


SHIPPING

All orders shipped F.O.B. Craftsman Awards, Houston, Texas.  Factory has full discretion on carrier status unless otherwise provided in writing.   [back to top]


FREIGHT CLAIMS AND BREAKAGE

Title to goods passes to the buyer at the F.O.B. point.  Goods are shipped at the buyer's risk and claims must be made against the carrier.  We cannot guarantee on-time delivery or safe carriage of goods.   [back to top]


UPS SHIPMENTS

UPS requires damage claims to be made by shipper on your behalf.  Craftsman must be notified within 72 hours of receipt of breakage and all packing and goods must be held by the recipient in order for a claim to be filed.   [back to top] 


RETURN POLICY

If a shipment does not agree with the packing slip or the order you placed, you must call within 48 hours of receipt of merchandise.  To return damaged or defective merchandise for credit, call for authorization.  Original goods must be returned before replacement is made.   [back to top]


SPECIAL CRYSTAL

Craftsman Awards is able to satisfy most special glass and crystal requests not found on this site.  Craftsman will utilize all available resources to help you with your special needs.  Please call us.   [back to top]


TRADEMARKS

Liability for the correct use of trademarks rests with the customer.  Craftsman reserves the right to use, show, or photograph sample items produced by our factory without any liability on our part.  Logos used on this site are used for display purposes only.  Endorsements of any part are not implied.   [back to top]

COLOR-FILL

A charge of $20.00 (P) per color, per piece, is required.  Call for a list of available colors.  Add 2 working days to normal lead times.   [back to top]

CRAFTSMAN'S QUALITY PLEDGE

Defects in material and craftsmanship will be corrected in a timely manner without charge.  Many of the products in our fine line of quality crystal are individually caste and may contain bubbles, flow lines, or slight bumps on the rim.  These qualities are considered to be the definitive way of identifying a glass product which had been hand-crafted.  We do not consider these to be defects and will not consider them as reasons for replacements.  Please handle all glass and crystal with extreme care.   [back to top]
